Heat Pipe Solar Collector solar collector has successfully passed quality test of EN12975-1,2 and it is able to operate under all weather conditions. the AKH collector's manifold cover and frame uses anodized aluminum and special corrosion protection film has been applied to aluminum surface. AKH uses two advanced technology--vacuum tube and heat pipe. evacuated tubes are the absober of the collector. heat pipe plays a role of heat transfer between vacuum tube and manifold.it transfers thermal energy absorbed by vacuum tube to flow pipe inside manifold. Each heat pipe is tested for heat transfer performance and exposed to 250°C temperatures prior to being approved for use. given this strict quality control and high copper puruty, the life expectancy of the heat pipe is even longer than that of the solar tube.
